Fun fact: The original rainbow flag was created in 1978 by gay rights activist, Gilbert Baker. In his original 8-color version, he assigned each one a distinct meaning: pink (sexuality), red (life), orange (healing), yellow (sunlight), green (nature), turquoise (magic), blue (peace), violet (spirit).
